One more thing - see the shirt under the Vest? Got it, Old Navy, pennies - waffle-knit thermal HOODIE! Olive Green. (and I got a burgundy one too!)
MODS to ze Pattern: tweaked the gauge from 1620 to 1722 for the Silk Garden yarn. Made the ribbing longer (to the first cable cross). The cable looks a lot more dimensional in person than in the picture - love that mirror-in-the-bathroom-effect and HEY! I cleaned the mirror first!
I like - it is warm, and cheerful and most of all, IT's a VEST!
