I started this site in 2001, when myself and friends started to get reacquainted with the Fine Art of Knitting. One thing rather quickly led to another and before long, Chic Knits became a collection of many resources for the growing number of new millennium knitters.

As I started to need new and modern pieces for my personal wardrobe, that collection started to include simple, wearable designs and hand knitting patterns. My background includes training in fashion and graphic design and soon my skills merged with my passion for fiber, fit and finish.

At Chic Knits you will find designs for clothing that mirror the 21st, with the style and comfortable attitude of the Modern Woman who enjoys life whether she's barefoot or boardroom.
